Starving Arts is a punk band from Long Island, New York. After years of intensive touring and recording in the ranks of heavy hardcore and metal acts This Is Hell, Blistered, Burn, and Extinction A.D., Starving Arts’ melodic sound marks a distinct stylistic pivot for its collective membership. The band will release their debut 7” Funeral Days this October via Black Numbers. Captured by veteran recording engineer Brett Romnes (The Movielife, Crime in Stereo, I Am The Avalanche), Funeral Days features four concise tracks of poignant punk rock played with an impressive command, juxtaposing heavy lyrical themes against a musical backdrop laced with infectious pop sensibility.
